Need A Replacement Floor Jack Wheel
Replacement Wheel for Blackhawk SJ-2 Jack-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------
I need a replacement jack wheel. I have a 1.5 ton (one and a half ton) Sears garage jack. I've broken the rear wheel on it (the smaller ones) since I dropped it and need to buy a wheel for that, I really should get two (if I get new ones). Does anyone have a jack wheel for sale, I'm not sure if it's steel or cast iron, I think it's cast iron. The floor jack has 4 wheels, two large at the front and two small at the rear. The replacement part number is A673154 (wheel and caster). The wheel is approximately 6cm (2 7/16") tall, nearly 2.5cm (1") wide and the hole the bolt goes into is approximately 1cm (7/16).

Rebuilding A Hydraulic Floor Jack
The author fears that the small balls in the valves will be lost and the cylinder will become useless. Even though the balls were not included in the kit, precision steel balls can be purchased from a bike shop in a variety of sizes. The ball sizes in my jack are: 5/16 inch (7.94 mm), 7/32 inch (5.55 mm) and 5/32 inch (3.96 mm). If I turn the body of the jack back and forth, I hear metal balls rolling inside the passages. I placed a pair of pliers under the screw head and pounded the pliers with a hammer to remove the metal plug from the body of the jack. The second photo shows the body of the bottle jack, but reversed so that it is easier to hold when using the camera. When the cylinder's safety range is exceeded, the safety overload valve opens like a pressure regulator to allow oil to return to the reservoir rather than enter the cylinder chamber. To make it at home, I carefully turned this screw and counted half turns until it bottomed out. When reassembling, I will gently turn the screw until it bottoms out, then unscrew it 1 3/4 turns. One author noted that some jacks fail because the safety overload screw unscrews, which sets the lifting capacity of the jack at a much lower threshold, and the arm may not lift what you want to lift. This same author also stated that most safety overload screws are about two turns looser than the lowest point. I tried the biggest screwdriver I had (3/8 inch wide blade) with a wrench on its square shank. When my improvised screwdriver settled into the screw and its slot, I tapped on the head of the bolt to make sure it was fully seated in the slot. I used a wrench on the head of the bolt and the screw came out with no difficulty. I had tried to buy a big screwdriver, but I couldn't find one that big.# Images | Floor Jack Replacement Wheels - Jack Casters
